Parks and Recreation
Park and recreation districts are governed by a five-member board of directors. The specific powers that the board of directors may exercise are to organize, promote, conduct, and advertise programs of community recreation, including, no not limited to, parks and open space, parking, transportation, and other related services that improve the community’s quality of life.
